An electric piano with the structure of a grand piano, designed to be disassembled and portable.
Description
The CP-70 is an electric grand piano developed to deliver the expressive depth and richness characteristic of acoustic pianos while matching the volume levels of electric guitars and other amplified instruments on live stages. Based on the structure of a grand piano, it retains the same piano action and frame construction, yet can be separated into two cases for transport. Sound is captured via pickups and amplified, applying the amplification principles of electric guitars to a piano.
Characterized by a bright and well-defined tone, the CP-70 became widely used across music scenes, not only for live performances but also extensively in recording environments.
